ParrotIt
Forms? ParrotIt.

Nobody should have to tell it twice.

Safe forms for the AI age. The people you serve tell their story once, and their answers are locked on their own device before they reach anyone, including us.

The Problem

Forms are not neutral.

For someone exhausted, frightened, or simply tired of being asked, every form is a demand to tell it again. Name. Address. Date of birth. Next of kin. What happened. Again.

Stress and upheaval take up the room a person needs to fill a form carefully. The system should bend to that, not ask them to be more organised than they can manage today.

Someone rehoused after a fire can be asked for the same details a dozen times, and has to live through it every time.

ParrotIt exists to end that cycle.

Repetition is a systems failure. The burden belongs on the institution, not the person.
The Revolution

Not a form builder. Infrastructure.

Forms are surface expressions of deeper, reusable human data. The real problem is repeated, fragmented data collection across disconnected systems.

The right solution is standardisation plus controlled reuse. That is what ParrotIt builds.

1
Shared data model

One meaning per field

"First name", "forename" and "given name" all land in the same place. Forms stay consistent, and nobody has to work out which one you meant.

2
ParrotIt protocol

Consent, release and trail

Answers are encrypted on the device. We store what we cannot open. The person filling it in chooses what is shared and sees who opened it.

3
ParrotIt

The whole thing

The form writes itself, shares by QR or link, and fills from a vault held on the device. Built for people under pressure, not just the confident ones.

"A person should be able to hold standardised information once, share only what is needed, and see exactly what was used."

How It Works

Four steps. Zero repetition.

Scan

A QR code, an NFC tag, or a short code you type.

Fill

Your saved answers fill it in. They live on your device.

Submit

One deliberate step. Nothing sends by accident.

Track

See who opened it, and when.

The entire submission is encrypted on the device before it leaves. The server never sees plaintext. Ever.
Who It’s For

Built for the people who do the asking.

Food banks and refuges

Protect the people you serve.

The person in front of you is often the one with the least room to spare. A duplicate form is the system failing, not them. ParrotIt moves that work off the person and onto the software.

Someone leaving a violent home should not have to tell housing, benefits, the GP and the food bank separately.

  • A privacy notice is written alongside the form, and the trail is there if anyone asks to see it.
  • Kiosk mode for a shared tablet in a care home, a library, or a job centre.
  • Nobody should be frightened into collecting nothing at all.
Councils and public services

Fix intake without spending the trust.

A resident deals with a dozen teams, and each one asks for the same details in a different order. ParrotIt puts the same fields underneath those forms, so answering stops being a translation job.

Fewer errors coming in, fewer chases going out, and a record of who opened what and when.

  • Answers are encrypted on the device, so resident data never sits readable on your servers.
  • Every view and export is recorded by the server, not by the browser.
  • QR posters in the waiting room and NFC on the reception desk, for people who arrive with nothing.
  • Ask for less. Every field you drop is one fewer thing to hold.
Clinics and care homes

Patient details, handled with some dignity.

People repeat their history, their allergies and their next of kin to every new service. ParrotIt lets them tell it once and choose who sees it.

Less time on intake, fewer things typed wrong, and the patient can see who opened their record.

Features

What’s under the hood.

Locked on the device

Answers are encrypted on the phone that typed them, before they go anywhere. Only the recipient you chose can open them. We hold data we cannot read.

Saved answers

Fill it once and the next form does not ask again. The keys never leave the device, so we could not read them if we tried.

A trail you can check

Every view, every signature, every export is recorded and shown to the person who shared the data. Nothing can be quietly removed later.

The form writes itself

Describe what you need and the draft comes back close. It learned that from the shape of other forms, never from anyone else’s answers.

Share it anywhere

A QR code, a short link, an NFC tag. Every form gets all three without setting anything up twice.

Nothing sends by accident

Answers stay reviewable right up to the moment they go. The person filling it in decides when that is.

What we believe

A manifesto for dignity in data.

You should know who has seen it

People deserve to know who opened their data and when. A trail you can check is not a feature. It is the point.

Privacy and accountability are not a trade

Encryption protects the person. The trail protects the record. Take either one away and the other stops meaning much.

Ask for less

Collect only what you need. Extra data is extra risk, and every question you drop is a minute back for someone.

Standard fields move the burden

When the people asking all use the same fields, the person answering stops doing the translation. That is where the work should sit.

What we will not become

Not a surveillance tool. Not an advertising broker. Not a way to sell behaviour. Not a shadow identity register.

Start with the form that hurts most.

Answers are encrypted on the device before they leave it. Consent is asked for, never assumed. And the people who usually come off worst from bad systems are the ones it is built for.
